Ismini-Nikoleta Mathioudaki is assistant and researcher at the Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence – University of Athens. She is a lawyer specializing in human rights law and refugee and minority law. She is a graduate of the Department of Political Science and History of Panteion University and of the Law Department of the University of Nanterre, and holds postgraduate degrees in Sociology and International and European Law from the Paris Dauphine University and the University of Amsterdam respectively. She has been working as a researcher for the University of Leiden and the University of Oxford, and she has published publications on the effective protection of the right to asylum at the University of Amsterdam and the University of Oxford. She speaks fluent English, French and Spanish.
