Dimitris Krokos is currently an intern at the Jean Monnet European Centre of Excellence of the University of Athens (June-July 2018). He is at his final year of studies at the Law School of the University of Athens, while he has participated at an exchange programme at the Freie Universität Berlin. He has completed his studies at the American College of Greece (Deree), earning a Certificate Minor on Economics (summa cum laude), as a Stavros Niarchos Foundation Scholar. His academic interest is focused on the nexus between Law and Economics with a focus on Economic Analysis of Law and Theory of Institutions. He has served for years in a volunteer capacity at the European Youth Parliament (EYP), facilitating groups on non-formal learning and delivering training modules. At the same time he has served for over two years as the Vice President of European Youth Parliament Greece. Last, but not least, he has travelled to more than 20 countries and speaks English, Greek, French and German.
